I've read the mangas that are out in America and there really isn't much of a difference. In the first two mangas there are some minor changes but all in all it seems pretty much the same.

I watched Escaflowne on VHS man! Back in the day. I must have seen it for the first time at least 5 or 6 years ago. And I watched it all in one day with my friend Heather. All 26 episodes.
