auctions for vet bills

That's right. My dog got sick again. For those who don't know, my doggie spent all last weekend in the pet hospital. He's feeling better now but he's still getting tests run. We're hoping it's NOT what the vet is thinking it is because that's a fatal disease. We're keeping our fingers crossed it's just a bug.

All that means is I have some big vet bills to pay. So I sped up my thinning process by adding stuff to ebay tonight. All auctions begin, as always, for less than what I paid. Series include Fruits Basket, Gundam Wing, CCS, MKR and Inuyasha including one I never updated in my gallery. Of course as I was looking through my celbooks today, I noticed quite a bit that's not updated in my gallery for whatever reason. I'll try to get on that soon.

I am very sorry that your dog is sick and that he had to go through all that, but I pray everything turns out okay.

It is never fun to go through these things, especially with loved ones like pets. And vet bills are always a killer .

I hope your sales go well and you don't have too sell too much to help out on those bills.

I am very sorry I know how it is (b/c one of my kitties got sick when he was 2 years old and I had to pay $1.5K For an undergrad student, it was soooooooooooooo painful )

I'm realli sorry to hear abt your dog. I can understand the pain and anxiety of having a beloved pet fall sick. My rabbit gave me quite a scare recently when she didn't want to drink or eat. The vet told me to prepare for the worst since she was pretty old. But then now she is back to normal and I treasure each day she is ok. Anyway, I hope your dog will bounce back to gd health and gd luck for your sales!

WOW! First, I'd like to thank everyone who's given me support both on this thread and in my pm box. I'm overwhelmed. I was feeling so alone last weekend because my house is so empty without my dog home. I should have just logged into beta and chatted. You guys all have just made me feel . . . yeah - no words.

Thanks again for all your support! I want to let everyone know that while my dog has been sick and I do have some serious vet bills to pay, I didn't want anyone to think I'm desperate for money. I've just been thinning out my gallery this year and this shock over last weekend sped up that process. All the money is going to pay the bills though. Being a grownup sucks sometimes.

Just letting know my auctions are in their final 24 hours . . . so go bid.

I hope this is good news. My doggie seems like he's back to normal, which makes me very happy. The tests are over and everything points to him just having a virus. Of course, I'll be keeping a close eye on him over the next week but hopefully, crisis over.
