Yeah. Luckily the people that have the movie contracts can still make the movies. I don't wanna see Disney edited superhero movies.

But maybe they'll play the old Spider-man cartoons. ^^ Those weren't bad.

I think that Disney will probably allow Marvel to remain as it's own entity without too much interference on Marvel based movies. I had no clue that Disney owned Dimension Films (Scream movies) and was completely shocked to find that out. For anyone who didn't know about this before (like me), it came as a complete surprise because in so many Dimension films the last thing that pops into your head is Disney (well perhaps with the exception of Spy Kids

)!

But hopefully this acquisition will be similar and there won't be too much of a change in the way Marvel movies will be produced.

Yeah, Disney made a smart business move to save themselves money and to make a lot of money. They're not going to change anything. They want the money. Disney owns a lot of companies. They bought Pixar and nothing changed there. I believe Disney just wants to spend less money on their Disney XD channel, which is airing X-Men, Spiderman and such.

Marvel's main competitor DC Comics has been owned by Warner Brothers for many years. That relationship has worked out ok.
