What are the advantages to being 8 years old?

I'm watching it raw, but then I read anime message boards where they say what happened. Anime message boards and blogs usually fill me in on the key stuff that happened.

Erementar Gerad is the exception though because I can't find up-to-date discussion threads of it anywhere. Even anime bloggers that often watch raws are not watching Erementar Gerad raws. :shrug

I've also got a pile of Full Metal Alchemist ... Saiyuki Reload ... Voltage Fighter Gowkaiser ... and Tokyo Babylon, to name just a few, to watch.

*sigh*

I'm so far behind!!!!! :l But, at least catching up will be fun. :D :D

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

Oops!! I forgot that one! Yep, I recently watched Devilman Lady, too. Very angsty and a bit over the top ... but I liked it a lot. :)

Side story on Devilman Lady (apologies in advance for the wandering off-topic)

I had a friend who used to sponge off me all the time by borrowing anime
because he was so cheap that he wouldn't buy it for himself. It was always
"Let me borrow this.", "Can you burn me a copy of this?", etc. Got very
annoying (and is a factor in why we're no longer friends). Anyways, he was
a big Devilman fan and kept bugging me to buy Devilman Lady so that he
could borrow it from me. I told him that I had no interest in it and wasn't
going to buy it just so he could borrow it. One day, Right Stuf had the bundle
on their weekly sale for a ridiculously low price. So, I pointed that out to him
and he ordered it for himself. Then, for the next few weeks, he kept bugging
me "How long does it take them to ship it?" "How long will it take to arrive?",
etc. Finally, it gets in. He watches it and utterly hates it. So, then he starts
bugging me to buy it off of him or tell him where to go to sell it. *sigh*
Some people just suck.

I would buy it from your "friend" for 2 cent :P
or you can say that when he puts it in his campfire, he can use it warm up his marshmellows :P

(mhhh at this late hour I seem a bit evil  )

Just came back from seeing "Devil's Rejects" from the movie theatre
I was kinda disappointed.. :? :P not as good as his 1st flick.
The gore and violence factor was toned down in this one.. *sigh* :x :P
and it didnt have cool cinematography or artsy-fartsy references like "House of 1000 corpses" did...

Ah well.. at least Deuce Biggalow part 2 is coming up soon! Definetely gonna watch that one :hitting: :rollin

Another week is over:

GunxSword 6 (decent - 5.4):
Series turned toward the light side, but it was a little too nutty for me. A couple of the Van scenes in the second half were pretty funny though. :D

Bleach 44 (fairly good - 6.3):
Pretty enjoyable fight, but things look bad for Ishida there at the end. 8O

School Days chapter one from website (decent - 5.6):
Kind of obvious what was going happen at the end there, but I still rather liked it.

School Days Sekai chapter chapter 5 - H-scene basically.

School Days Otome story ending chapter 6 - H-scene ending, but Otome's seiyuu sounds like Nerine in Shuffle. Same seiyuu? I can't find a seiyuu game listing for her in English. :( EDIT: - Apparently it IS her.

Erementar Gerad 19 (decent - 5.6):
I liked how they handled the "problem". I wish problems like this would get solved like this more often instead of using the usual "everyone sit around act dense not knowing what's really going on". Then there'd be more room for plot development elsewhere. But that would require more writing work I suppose. :P

Akahori Gedou Hour Love Game 3 (okay/fair - 5.1):
Goofy first half and only half-interesting second half. :?

Iriya no Sora 6 (pretty good - 7.5):
Watched the ending English subbed this time. I still like it the exactly the same.

Shuffle! 6 (decent - 5.6):
Fairly fun episode centered on Primula. Next episode will be about Asa-sempai. Yay! :yay My favorite character. :love2 :D

AIR Movie (fairly good - 6.5):
It was heartbreaking seeing Misuzu suffer all over again. It was SO sad. But it was heartwarming to recall the little happiness that Misuzu got from the simplest things in life. :l

Most of the events in the AIR Movie are fairly similar to the TV series, but some events were changed, combined and compressed. Some changes make the story feel less dramatic than the TV series (such as when [spoiler] came for Misuzu), but other changes I thought made scenes more dramatic (such as the [spoiler] flying part). Argh! So sad! Three at the same time. X| :bawl

Overall: Obviously you shouldn't watch the AIR Movie before the TV series (or before playing the game for that matter) or you're likely to be confused. The Movie's story is told through flashbacks and visual imagery that anime movies frequently use to cram long stories into a movie length features. I enjoyed it though.
Da Capo ~ Second Graduation 7 (so-so - 4.7):
This was a very frustrating episode for me. I hate the silliness, mental games and mental mistakes that permeated it. I know this anime is based off the SECOND game and I should have expected this, but it was still very annoying. X|

I just finished watching Eyeshield 1 -13 and have to admit that I have a new guilty pleasure.

I can't really tell you why I like it, but it is like Flame of Recca, not really good, but you have to see more 8)
