Here's one given on a history exam by one of my sorority sisters back in college. I kid you not.

"The Napoleonic Era was bigger than the man himself."


While not a good candidate for the Malaprop Award, I thought it got big points for sheer cahones! :P

Sir Francis Drake circumcised the world with a 100 foot clipper which was very dangerous to all his men.
Sadly enough, I remember hearing this one when I was in elementary school. It was for an example of the importance of spelling. >.<

Think it is the second Baakay, but not too sure. Wouldn't bet the :bny on it.

Good thing nobody walked by while I was reading these. Giggling in my cubicle isn't good. *snickers more*

Delegates from the original 13 states formed the Contented Congress. Thomas Jefferson, a Virgin, and Benjamin Franklin were two singers of the Declaration of Independence. Franklin discovered electricity by rubbing two cats backward and also declared, "A horse divided against itself cannot stand. " He was a naturalist for sure. Franklin died in 1790 and is still dead.
