Well I've gone through this once, so... Yes it's always such an elating feeling and the feeling of nostalgia is quite strong too. I'm with everyone in that, don't jump in right away. A lot of time has passed and things change, get to know her well -again-. Now as for diving right in, if you really can't hold back, then if you two have a good past you should still be able to remain friends after a little awkwardness. Just remember both requires diligence either before or after.

Well, I have added her on MSN and talked with her about vacations and stuff, I told her that I like talking with her, and she is still very nice to me.

My only problem now is, what should I say to her next time I get online?
What can I talk about?

Some good advice already, but please don’t at least appear desperate to her, as it may come across to strong to someone you’ve not spoken to in a long time.

Don't pre-determine what you're going to talk about...ask her how she is, how her day went...don't have a fixed script, if things go well the conversation will flow naturally and you won't have to worry about what to say.

You can tell her that finding her has brought back a lot of pleasant memories of you past, and then you can talk about some of them. If you are lucky she will bring up some of her plesant memories and you can tell if something is there.

And I think you are right to think like you do. Love is never easy: you must fight for it day after day, avoid some fightings, fight when it's really important, quit some of your activities to follow the other is his/hers and allways do some compromises.
It's very hard to build a couple that may last.
But it also worth the price

That's not a romantic vision but a realistic one. I think true love exists but you must do what you have to to keep it alive.

And I do think that doing everything for the other is never a waste, even though it wouldn't work finally. It avoids regrets. And even if love may hurt, the ones to pity are the ones unable to take the risk

I talked to her again last night, she is still very very nice to me, in fact I can't remember any girl ever being so kind to me.
She doesn't seem to have a boyfriend at the moment, and she must know by now that I really like her a lot, as I told her that I find her amazing.
I have not said that I love her though.

In any case, even if I never see her for real again (I really hope that I do, of course) I hope she will stay nice to me and that we can be very good friends.

I just can't stop thinking about her, she even said goodnight to me, how cool is that!

I say man up and ask her on a date. But don't readily include that you've been secretly thinking about her for a decade and you finally tracked her down to profess your love.

Just ask her out to coffee and a movie and see what happens, at the very least you've found an old friend you can get to know again.
