What did you watch last?

I watched Summer Slam last night, and I thought it was great! HBK really oversold to the aging Hulk Hogan (he's too predictable), but it was entertaining, to say the least!

Lots of fun! Can't wait until Royal Rumble, my favorite wrestling PPV of all.

Samurai Fiction - A noblemans son sets out to return his family's treasure that was stolen by a former employee. I doesn't sound like much but it's hilarious, great characters, decent soundtrack and some nifty sword fights.

Well, I've had the chance to catch up on a bit of anime viewing during my little vacation.

So far, I've watched discs 2-4 of FMA ... discs 3-4 of Samurai Champloo ... discs 3-4 of Saiyuki Reload ... and tonight I watched Tokyo Babylon. I liked it a lot, although I had such a headache that I could not stand reading the subtitles ... so I had to watch it in English.

I'm DEFINITELY going to go back very soon and see it in Japanese! I expect it will be much, much better that way.

Also, in the non-anime category, I recently watched most of Season 3 of Starsky & Hutch. Yeah, yeah, yeah ... I love that show. Go figure.

I enjoyed this film too, haven't seen many samurai-based films that I didn't actually

Interesting to see how they portrayed the Samurai since this is a Korean film...
BTW, it doesn't matter if it's been mentioned before, add whatever you've been watching, it's ALL good!

GunxSword 7 (decent - 5.4):
I'm getting a bit bored with this show. I heard episode 8 is better though.

Bleach 46 (decent - 5.6):
Not bad, but I want to get to episode 47 fast.

Erementar Gerad 21 (decent - 5.7):
The stakes got turned up again. There was a revelation at the end.

Imbalance Girl (okay - 5.2):
Unusual 3-D adult anime. Her eyes didn't look right. But it wasn't a completely horrible attempt at 3-D.

More Animated "School Days" Chapters:

Okay I watched some more School Days Chapters today. They were very interesting. The two main girls in the English anime fansubbed first chapter were Sekai and Kotonoha. I think the way the game works is that there are six chapters and then an Ending chapter to wrap things up and let the end credits roll up the screen.

I seen these parts, but I have little idea where they took place in the game or what took place before it. I can only guess at what happened before:

SCHOOL DAYS SPOILERS:

1. Chapter Six - Seen a scene with Kotonoha where she has cuts on her face. Kotonoha and Makoto have an H-scene, but Makoto doesn't look like he's into it at all (it's as though he's half dead and only there out of guilt and obligation and feels like he's completely trapped). Maybe he got dumped by one of the other girls and feels he has nowhere else to go. Kotonoha talks in a semi-spooky evil voice like her mind is already partially shattered by all the stuff she's been through (being picked on by a lot of the students, etc.).

This chapter was somewhat disturbing.

2. An Ending - Makoto takes train to school with Kotonoha. He confronts Nanami and Sekai about something (probably about something bad someone was planning for Kotonoha or something they actually did). Then Makoto goes to stop four girls from picking on Kotonoha. Kotonoha was about to be hit in the face by one of the girls. He gets them to say they'll stop. He leaves with Kotonoha who is happy to see him. In the hall he sees Sekai and Nanami again. Sekai says she had no idea of what they were planning. Nanami verifies that Sekai didn't know anything. Makoto says that it doesn't matter and walks past them. Kotonoha lags behind not knowing what to say to Sekai. Makoto tells Kotonoha to "Come along" with him. Sekai cries knowing she's completely lost to Makoto and that he doesn't even want to have anything to do to her. Makoto and Kotonoha eat lunch on a school bench outside. Kotonoha asks about really being his girlfriend. They kiss at the end as the end credits roll up the screen.

This is apparently the Happy Kotonoha Ending.

3. Chapter Six - Kotonoha and Sekai have H-scenes with Makoto with the other present. Once in a room and once on the school roof. Eventually Sekai accepts Kotonoha's proposal of BOTH of them being with Makoto. Sekai thinks its weird, but the two of them get along at the end of chapter six.

4. An Ending - This is similar to the Chapter Six directly above, but on the school roof Makoto decides not to have H with Sekai and chooses Kotonoha instead. Sekai feels rejected. Later she shows up at one of their apartments and inside hears Makoto and Kotonoha having H. Sekai stands at the door feeling bad, but the real bad part is (I think) when Makoto bad mouths Sekai. I think he tries to make Kotonoha feel better by calling Sekai trash (actually worse than that, but I'm not going to get too specific). Sekai stands at the door with dead eyes and walks away.

Later Kotonoha and Makoto are on a pier during sunset. Kotonoha has a friendly conversation with Makoto talking about a baby and she walks away. Makoto talks to himself, stands up and turns around...and is firmly stabbed in the gut with a large knife by Sekai. He falls down in a sitting position. Makoto talks calmly to Sekai for awhile. Sekai stands in surprise at what Makoto is saying to her. She eventually panics and runs away (with a lot of blood on her hands). Makoto talks to himself for awhile about all sorts of things. He gets up and staggers along a beach wall leaving blood marks on the wall (ready to die appparently) talking to himself.

The End

5. An Ending - I believe this Ending is what happens when Makoto initially chooses to go out with Kotonoha and then abruptly changes his mind and goes with Sekai. In this chapter six Kotonoha continues to get picked on all the time by the male and female students without Makoto's intervention. Her school books, desk and locker all get torn up and written on. She feels so alone.

One time she overhears an H-scene between Sekai and Makoto. She then continues to torment herself by hanging around their apartment and hearing more H-stuff between them. She's depressed. There's a scene of her on the balcony when she's listening again. She spies some objects with handles on the balcony shelf. Realizing something, with tears in her eyes she bends her head back and starts laughing.

The next day she confronts Makoto and Sekai while the three of them are standing outside on an overstreet overpass. Kotonoha pulls out a cleaver and slashes the side of Sekai's neck. Blood pours out and Kotonoha begins to laugh. Sekai falls down with blood all over her. Sekai's eyes are half way closed (and I assume she died).

The End. o_O

Sadly...I never got the ending where Kotonoha commits suicide by jumping off the roof and splattering on the ground in front of Sekai and Makoto.

I want to see what lead up to that one.
