Oh pooh, half of those got me and I grew up in the 60's.
10. You had plastic streamers on your handle bars.... and spokey-dokes or playing cards on your spokes for that incredible sound effect..
Yep, yep. 35 end-of-the-baby-boomers on the same block (when they were still babies) with roaring banana seat bikes (and no helmets. What's a helmet?) screaming up and down the streat with playing cards in their spokes, singing early Beatles tunes at the top of their lungs.

No wonder our moms liked Valium so much. :P

And yes, I'm still humming "shot through the heart" in my head. Geez.
12.It was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons
Johnny Quest, Fantastic Four... :D Hours on end in front of the tube. Lordy.
25. You can remember what Michael Jackson looked like before his nose fell off and his cheeks shifted. (And he was really black!)
You're only a few months older than Michael Jackson and you remember when he was just the cute front man for the Jackson Five...and when the high squeaky voice was because he was an adorable and talented little KID! :P (And yes! He was really black!)

My favorites, though... "Where's the Beef" and "I've Fallen and I Can't Get Up." And of course, "Wax On, Wax Off." Hee.

I loved Saturday morning TV as a kid... especially the Turtles! ^_^! Oh, and the original cast of Power Rangers lol. I think that's just within the early 90s barrier. And I've been told that when Michael Jackson was in his element during the 80s, myself and a friend as toddlers used to try and dance like Michael and do that "Woo!" thing.

Hm... I've thought of something from the mid-80s, moreso that UK people would remember... Grange Hill and "Just Say No" says it all really. I used to love watching that on Saturday mornings, too. The theme tune was so catchy and the teachers were allowed to give clips around the ear back then to all the unruly kids! Hehe.

(Marmalade Boy's Miwa!)

And I've got those little pop beads on my bicycle spokes right now! :P

Oh yeah, and I remember when solitaire was a game played with REAL cards! (and I can play several versions!) :bny (I've got two decks in my desk drawer here at work for those days when the plane is late.)
