I am a pretty bad camera monkey as I usually end up trashing at least 85% of what I take. I blame my amazing ability to never keep perfectly still.

But therin lies the beauty of Canon... IS lenses. Shaky go bye-bye.
'Course those cost a bit of money, too.
But the Canon Digital Rebel XT is such a good camera for the money... it's all about the imaging chip anymore, and Canon's got that one nailed (trust me, I came from the Nikon camp).
Throw some good glass on that puppy and you're set.

But $6K?!!! Well, if you're using it for work, too, I guess that's acceptable. It really looks like it was worth the investment, too. Those are some gorgeous pictures!!!
