Aino Minako Gallery Update

I don't normally post my new updates here but I figured I've come a long way. I've always had a few cels lying around that I would randomly pick up but I didn't seriously start collecting until 2008.

I love Streetfighter and Sailor Moon so I narrowed it down to collect from just those two series. Minako and Usagi are my two favorite characters to collect from SM. And I LOVE SM Stars.

Streetfighter II V seems to be hard to find these days...so if you see any please pass me a link. I wish I could buy them all...but cel collecting always means being somewhat reasonable on purchases

My birthday is coming up as well so I'm on the look out for what to buy myself You know...just as a little something. I have some things in mind but I haven't decided yet.

Thanks for sharing your gallery! I'm not a collector of the series that you favor, but I enjoyed the new SM cel of Usagi reacting (a little over the top, as usual) to good news. I also appreciate the time you take to put the cels into context, briefly, and your comments on their condition are also interesting.

So many cels ... such an awful exchange rate! It does sound as if you are developing a good sense of taste, though, and so I hope you pick a "Birthday Precioussss" that will give you joy for years to come.

I love your gallery and your new SM addition! I loved that episode, too, it even made me consider collecting a couple cels of Misa once I get enough wishlist Hotarus that I can begin to branch off into Pluto.

I hope you can find a good birthday present, too! I actually just bought myself one that'll be going up on my gallery on the 19th. Yay Leos!

@sensei -- thanks for taking the time to look through my gallery even though the series aren't really your interest. The exchange rate really is awful. I've backed off most of my other SM collecting because of the rate...but cels are a chance meeting. ^_~ Sometimes they need to be purchased when they come up.


@Sui ....I don't know how you do it with Saturn cels! I really would like a nice Saturn or Hotaru cel one day but I haven't found the one to catch my eye yet. And when it does you'll probably be right there with me Minako will always be my favorite though. I like to collect from the scenes I love most. I think that's what so great about owning cels it's a piece of what you love. And with the Stars season I'm pretty good at just knowing the scene since I've watched it so many times.

Also, I'd love to get a nice Pluto cel too, I can't wait to see what you find!

Hey, go for it, find a Hotaru! She's a really wonderful character right down to design, she has the prettiest eyes. I don't usually collect sequence mates of what I already have (though there are obvious exceptions in my collection, such as my love for episode 119), so you won't have any competition from me there. Minako is such a great character, too, and I always think of you whenever I see a Venus on auction.

And I know what you mean about Stars, I only recently finally saw it, and ever since, I've had such a huge craving for Stars Hotaru and Super Saturn! I kept looking at every sequence going "That would be such an awesome cel". *u* It's such a shame even Super Saturn is so rare, they must all be locked up in collections already.
