Gallery updates, the saga continues

... well I finally got my butt off escaflowne, if only temporarily - will be back on it in a few days

Lots of series up now, including some old and new favourites. At the moment I am in the middle of updating old school gatchaman, but I have uploaded Hajime No Ippo and quite a few others in the last day or so.

Beautiful gallery. Of course the Esca cels are the main attraction, but I really like the other selections you have posted this far.

I don't see many collectors these days with Ko Beast, Urusei Yatsura, and Iria cels in their collections.

That is THE cel for Dilandau fans. Just . . . WOW.

Love the rest of your collection, too. So many great cels and set-ups from such iconic scenes. Rare characters, too. A Dornkirk cel?!!! Amazing collection!!! That's where the rest of the amazing cels are!!!

Really makes me wish I'd gotten into cel collecting a few years earlier. Not that I had money in high school to fund this hobby, but . . . still.

Heh, we're sequence mates. How do you feel about giving scans/copies of your backgrounds?

Frozen: Thanks so much! Means alot coming from a guy with that impressive a collection himself

Takes me down memory lane to when I first started watching anime - my dad introduced me to it with alot of those titles (GunnM, etc) . I adore Urusei Yatsura but for the sake of my retirement fund I tried not to go too insane on it hehe.

Klet: Hurray! Another dilandau fan

I am always happy to copy backgrounds for sequence buddies, I know how much it means to have a cel look as close to its original usage as possible. At least for me, it makes a world of difference

If you can wait on the shipping of your auction win for another day, I will be able to hit up a print shop and see what they charge. Or yeah I could just scan it and patch it together as best as I can hehe

managed to get 23 'new' slayers cels up, and my rather ... er... focused tenchi muyo collection online

in my defense, the tenchis were super cheap!

updated today with 30 'new' esca cels. Going to take this opportunity to say thanks to people who donated cel background scans to rubberslug's resources, I've been having a great time editing some of them to suit the mood/scenes of a few much-loved pieces

Will be donating a few scans eventually as well.

but you have so much Escaflowne cels, maybe you can put them by characters category like, Van cels, Dilandau's cels, Folken cels... etc...

I thought about that... but then the Van page would be really red and black, and the Allen page would be really yellow and white

I will probably have to though, its getting ridiculous!

Either way, my head feels like it is going to explode looking at your collection. So much gorgeousness in one spot should be bad for ones health!
