good question....
and funny too, since I'm working on making a "wish granted..or top __ section" on Rb likes some of the others :P )

I have a top three (all from different shows)....one is on it's way...the other not scanned....
But above all is this one:

http://melodymoon.rubberslug.com/galler ... mID=228698

Because:

1).It was a gift from an awesome person....^_^
2). Because he is one of my favorite characters (yes it's a beauty..)

(of course I love all of the ones in the same sequence...but this one is specially lovely...)
Some say that life is like a box of chocolates, I say life is like a box of cake.

Not an easy answer for this one. But I'll go with this:

Kyoko on her wedding day from Maison Ikkoku

Only my wife was a prettier bride.

Never say never.

I know I'm guilty of saying this will never leave my collection but I have come to the understanding that cels and sketches are just things. If I desperately had to, I could dispose of my entire collection. However, you need to note the "If I desperately had to" part of that statement. As of now, I can show you entire sections that are never going to leave me.

As for just one for the thread, I don't know. It's tough. But I would have to go with this one.

Kamui

Out of all the stories I can tell you about my cels, this one holds the most memorable moment for me. A certain Sailor Moon cel and Tokyo Babylon cel firmly hold the number 2 and 3 slots.
Can you hear this fangirl squee?!

A1 B1, end and key cel. Matching background. Only cel from this sequence. Prince Niari. Mermaid. Enough said.

All of the items that I would never consider selling are hidden..

But of those that are not, it would be this one here -

My favorite part of the transformation, and it comes with a matching background. It doesn't get much better than that.

Strangely enough, it's not one of my most expensive cels that would be the last to ever leave my collection, but a moderately priced one. It's significant in that it's not only a dream cel that I had screen captured within my first weeks of collecting, but that I had to purchase both of the layers separately in order to complete this opening scene from Magic Knights Rayearth.

I think at this point...right now anyway...the piece I'm least likely to part with is the KimiNozo:

It has a highly sentimental value to me (both the show and the characters).

That's awesome! I didn't think any KimiNozo stuff made out of the studio! And it's a great shot too

I might have posted it in the "Favorite Cel/Sketch of 2008" thread...

...if there had been a thread for it that is. :wow:

I wasn't inclined to post it at the time. It was too soon.

Just edging it, my first choice would be the Angel Blade fancel I commissioned but since it contains nudity, it's not suitbale to post.

So the replacement would be this shot from Ninja Scroll. Not a difficult choice for me to make because it remains one of my favourite movies for the storyline, setting and rich visual detail. The luscious character design features the two main rivals of the movie, one can feel the tension between them in this single frame.

Like many here, we have a LOT of pieces that would be hard for us to let go of. A LOT!!! ^__^;;
That being said, we would never be able to part with any one of the five cels on this page:
http://angelic-lair.com/collection/dirtypair1.htm

They all mean just way too much to us. ^__^

Great Question!! Much like everyone else, I have a few treasured cels that I cannot ever envision myself putting up for offer - mostly from my Escaflowne & Full Metal Panic collections.

But if I had to chose just one, only one, then that one would have to be:

http://celsphoenix.rubberslug.com/galle ... mID=279664

What more can I say - Escaflowne, Hitomi, Ending Cel :P
Simply a stunning piece of artwork from my all time favourite series :)
