I present two extremes for you:

Iriya no Sora 5 (fairly good):

This was painful to watch and rather heart rendering. I had my face scrunched up most of the time while watching it. 8O :hurt:

The Good: Angst in good scenes that I liked. :bawl
The Bad:
1. Iriya getting
and [spoiler] X| 8O :hurt: :l
2. The Baka not paying enough attention to the phone. :tongue
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Koikoi7 ep.13 (mediocre/poor):

This was painful to watch in a BAD way.

The Good: The joke about the freezing cold and the boiling water. :D
The Bad:
1. Naked superhero fighting :?
2. In your face yuri kissing which was supposed to be funny, but didn't come across that way to me. :?
3. A lot of unfunny jokes. X|

I just came back from watching a terrible movie at the theatres :dh

"Land of the Dead" :tongue

UGH!! It was soo bad! >_<
It had no beginning and no ending.. just 1 1/2 hrs of fighting
zombies and nothing more. I love gore, blood, and violence in these movies just like the next zombie fan but geez I was bored after the 2198263th arm being ripped off :?

WTF was Dennis Hopper and John Leguizamo doing in that movie?? :puzzled they are high paid hollywood actors! /bo
:rollin ah well.. maybe they were bored and thought "what the hell!" /gg :crackup

Needless to say.. i was very disappointed.. :O :l

On a side note:

YAHHHHHHHHH!!! RAYD IS A NARUTARD!! WOHOOOO
:vict :bny :woot:

I saw that on Friday and LOVED it. I thought it was vintage Romero. The fact that you have three classes of people all fighting eachother: The Haves, the Have-Nots, and the Walking Dead. I thought the best character was Big Daddy. For a character that doesn't say a word in the whole film, he really brought some emotion to it. You almost felt sorry for the walking dead as being victimized somehow. There were also some pretty innovative death scenes mixed in with the rampant disemboweling and dismembering.
Like that scene where the "headless" walker comes toward the car, and the zombie flips the head forward to take a bite out of that Army dude. Then there was also an appearance by Blade's zombie from Dawn of the Dead which made me crack up.
I won't say that it was the scariest or goriest film ever made, but it entertained me. I really think Scream killed the horror genre altogether. For me, there hasn't been a really scary flick since Seven. The only ones I can think that might make the list are Audition and The Ring.
Time is but an illusion. Lunch time...doubly so.

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

Depends on the torrent. (I would assume you're dling via BT) Bleach is pretty popular though, and mine usually finish in 15-20 minutes. But a less popular show, such as Eyeshield 21 for example, can sometimes take an hour or longer for me.

G4 channel has been showing Gungrave. I didn't think I'd like it (gangsters? eh....) but I keep setting the VCR so I don't miss the eps (1 am, 4 am!). Is the whole thing actually a series of flashbacks? I'm not sure where the beginning is!

Last theatre movie I saw was when my husband dragged me to see the new Star Wars.

Last DVDs I watched were House of Flying Daggers and Nausicaa on the plane to/from our honeymoon. I love having a portable DVD player, although long plane/car rides are really the only time we watch DVDs.

Last TV shows I watched were Law & Order and SVU. I watch the re-runs if they are episodes I haven't seen. I don't watch much TV. My uncle was watching the WPGA US Open yesterday while I was at his house, so I guess I ended up watching some of that although without intent.

Last anime I watch was Bleach 37, Tsubasa 12 and Naruto 140. If I have time for three episodes a week I'm ahead of the game.

Just dl enough stuff that you always have something to watch. If you don't
have at least a half dozen torrents running at a time, it's a slow day :D
