Aeon Flux Movie: Yay or Nay

I was told by my friend that Jennifer Garner will play in the new Upcoming Aeon Flux Movie. I watched Daredevil (which was okay) and the Electra Movie (stunning CG effect). The anime itself was weird. I think that was why I liked it so much. Will anyone go see the Aeon Flux Movie and do you think it will be any good? Did anyone like the other 2 movies? Just thought I would start a new thread. Thank you.

From what Ihave heard, Charlise Theron will be playing the title character in the Aeon Flux movie-I haven't heard Jennifer Garner will be in it.

From the pics I have seen from the set, it'll be something I will probably miss. No live action can match up to the unique look and feel of the show.

Yes, it's Charlize Theron as Æon and Marton Csokas as Trevor. Peter Chung, the show's creator, recently visited the set in Berlin and met Theron and Csokas as they were filming. He seems to agree with the set report given by Dark Horizon's website -

My fault, I read through both Jennifer's and Charlize's upcoming movie's and got confused with the two. Not the first time.

But at least other people have heard about it. Hahhahaha, and that's all that matters!!!

Looks like the trailer's finally out and, well, I'm somewhat impressed (coolest thing of all is that they ARE giving Sithandra/Scaphandra hands for feet - sweet

). I know... I'm biased and it's just a trailer, but it seems to have the feel of the original.
Ah well, at least they'll be finally releasing the entire series on dvd soon (including some tantalizing extras promised by Peter Chung). That alone is worth the hype.

Im curious about it, but i may wait til it comes out on dvd for that one. I never really got into flux all that much, but i am very curious on the production and how they will do the cross over. Flux had a specific look and feel im not sure can be moved well into real life.

let us know how it is, those that go see it.

Truth is, I wasn't that into the animated shorts. I used to love Liquid Television. I wonder why they haven't released all of those on DVD yet? Personally, I'm waiting for the Crazy Daisy Ed or Winer Steele live action movie.

The style of the movie looks nice. I just *HATE* how her hair isn't curled out by her face like in the original cartoon. and her outfits aren't riding up in her crotch like in the anime -_-! That's what Aeon was all about, skill and skimpy outfits!
