I would seriously suggest that you bid on the YJ ones that are around now, the cel prices on Big Web Auctions then to go *very* high, especially since a lot of people that partake in the BWA dont have acces to YJ and so tend to stock up money for it and pay whatever it takes to get the cel.
It seems that you are most likely right Keropi, they will most likely update somehwere in the night. Anyway I understand the logic of having to pay for bidding rights, it makes sure only genuine people bid etc. So I have nothing against them using this policy (even though their system isnt as automated and fast as one would hope... and especially since you pay a percent to Mandarake *again* after the auction ends) but they should be likewise fair and give everyone ample time to have a look at all the items available before the actual auctions start. *shrugs* Well hopefully they will be up soon and I will be able to get an ID and have ample time to bid.

Um wow.....they have a Spirited Away repro cel up in the BWA that can be had for exactly half the current bid price at the Ghibli Museum......that is INSANE. To think I was just there and didn't buy one.....wish I had known there were people willing to pay such a crazy price for them.

Edit: Ok, make that 2 SA repro cels going for double what you can get them at the Ghibli Museum.....if anyone here is bidding, then geez.....just tell me and I can pick them up at the Ghibli Museum for you at a steal.

I'm surprised too to see how much those "Spirited Away" repros are going for as well.
I would also take Pomidor's recommendation concerning the EVA cels on the BMA. The last Zenbu had quite a selection of *nice* EVA cels, and most of those ended up in the 100,000 yen range. Unless it's something you *really* want, I would suggest going for the cels on YJ than the ones on Mandarake.
I'm a bit saddened to see nothing much Sailormoon wise.....again.
Some *very* nice things this time around. I wonder how much the Zel OP cel will go for, Im sure a few local Slayer fans will have a good serious go at that one... not to mention thisgs like the Dragon Ball Z OP and ED cels, the *very* nice Eva cels and the hankens (some of whcih Im tempted with even though I dont actually collect the series) and several nice Studio Ghibli cels.. and of course the very nice Cowboy Bebop cel. Im suprised by the amount of OP and ED cels they have this time around, it seems like almost all of the cels are either OP or ED or hanken (especially for the first 15 pages or so).
Wow there are quite a few bishoujo gaming stuff in this one Tokimeki Memorial 1-2, Doukyuusei 2, Pia Carrot, Candy Stripe, Kakyuusei, First Kiss Story, etc.
Those Doukyuusei 2 Yui sketches are nice, but I don't like them enough to pay the amount they'll be going for. I like that cel of Shiori in her pink checkered pajamas too, but a large portion of her head is cutoff as is common with Tokimeki Memorial OVA cels.
Phew, luckily nothing takes my fancy. The only cel I might possibly go for is that one of Natsume from the Ranma ½ OVA. I liked her character alot. ^_^
A question from someone who hasn't registered with their BWA before; when you register and pay, does the transaction go through immediately like when you pay for a cel by credit card? So if I registered now, I could bid almost immediately?
I'm all over that Memories cel of the piano. I'm looking at the Sakuro op cel...and the Eva ones as well ^_^! Some nice stuff...Good luck on all who's bidding ^_^/!
Well it looks like I wont be bidding once again. A lot of very tempting stuff but Im sure that they will go sky high new the end and Im not *that* keen on any of them.

I cant speak for this or the last auction but on other occasions you account needed to be set manualy after you paid so it wasnt immediate.. actually it took a bit of time.
So is anyone going for anything? Im sure that the Slayers Op cels will have a taking (Karen ^_~) not to mention all the other goodies. Let us know so us unbidding mortals can root for you ^_^

Good luck Ms. Poe ^_^ With all the money saved up from the Miyuki-chan cel Im sure you will be able to snag at least one or two of those cels.
