What is your best DEAL ever on a cel or sketch?

I was cleaning up my gallery and started thinking about this.

My best "DEAL" ever is this $5.00 cel from AKON a few years ago.

I got this cel for free due to a seller's mistake.

I have some other cheap cels and freebies, but that has got to be the best deal I've ever gotten due to the original price. It also happened to be from a sequence I wanted a cel from, which sweetened the deal so much more!

I consider all of my Ayashi no Ceres cels (minus Aki with the gun) to be great deals due to the drastic price drop this summer.

My Sharon Apple was a steal too - it had been labeled as Sailor Moon, until someone informed the dealer. I just confirmed the series and purchased.

My best deal has to be my Sano and Sayo pan cel from Rurouni Kenshin;

I didn't even know I was bidding on it.

In the Mandarake auction description was some very rough layout sketches of Sano and some seagull sketches. That cel wasn't even in the auction pictures. I was the only bidder and got the entire set for 3000 JPY plus shipping. Yeah I'd say that was a bargain.

My best deal was winning a Mahoujin Guru Guru cel lot of 68 cels for around $90.00. That was approx. $1.50 for each cel!

It came with like 4 other cels and had a BIN price of something like $120. I sold the others for more than $120 and kept that one. So its like i got it for free plus couple of bucks

Ive seen couple from the same sequence sell for $400+ So it was kickass.

It was about $1.75 for each cel + sketch. This group came with entire sequences and oversized cels. They are one of my favorite cels in my collection too.

Apparently when it was listed it went under the radars-- it had a BIN the same price
as the opening bid and was mislabeled.
