Naruto Shippuuden Subs

Post by Goldknight »

You think it's another one of their jokes or are they truly serious?

No sub was released this week. :?

Well, that stands to reason since one didn't air in Japan this week. They skipped a week. Episode 66 was the last to air in Japan and it's subbed by DB. Episode 67 doesn't come out until the 24th. So I think it's them taking the opportunity to stop whatever foolish is happening. Purely a guess though. :^^:

Well don't I have egg on my face now. :crackup Oy...I should have known it wasn't out this week. So I guess they are just trying to teach certain users a lesson or just have some "fun" with us. X| Either way I'm relieved. :sweatdrop Thanks DT. :friends:

Wow. How bout them apples? I've always been a fan of Dattebayo. The don't charge any money for their service. They don't seem to be asking a lot by having people not upload to streaming sites like Youtube. It will be interesting how this plays out. Bet you see another Fansubber pop up eventually if not Dattebayo. Too bad though it had to come to that. I guess it's just the nature of the beast when dealing with the anime audience and the internet.

Glad I could be of help. :friends: See what happens when I finally catch up with a series. :nya:

I don't know. DB seems awfully moody. They make great subs though. I guess it's announcements like that that keep me from typically visiting fansubbers sites. I just go to baka or box. :)

Still Baka and Box get their subs from DB so who would take over. I see that DB posted their anniversary news and at the bottom reiterated that they were canceling Naruto.

Oh, I know. I was just saying I don't typically visit DB's site. As MM said, I'm sure someone would snap it up. There are lots of great groups out there. DB has just become known for Bleach and Naruto, which is probably why no one else is subbing it. I'm sure if DB actually quit there'd be 5 different groups jumping on it.

wow, seems that they are serious this time, and people don't seem to believe them thanks to all that past story of "trolls".

Naruto subbing will continue even if they drop it. Of course, don't expect any major group (or even minor) to pick it up. Most likely a noname group formed with people from other groups will do it. And they will continue doing it until someone makes them stop..... and then someone else will continue.......

This sucks. DB has great quality subs. I'm really bummed about this. :bawl

I hope someone else picks it up right away.

And with all that they have released episode 67 as usual. Notice the first frame of the video to discourage people who upload their works to youtube.

They troll their users like this pretty often. But they've stated in the past that they'll continue subbing until they get a C&D notice, so I wouldn't worry about them dropping any of their major projects until that happens.
