Happy Halloween - Show Me Monsters

Post by GuyvarIII »

:deek Happy Halloween :dlook

In honor of the day, show me cels, drawings, or paintings of monsters, skeletons, psychopaths,
things lurking under your bed, hiding in your closet, or that go bump in the night
… or anything else that fits the season.

To start it off, here’s a cel of an evil, monstrous Empress Zara (in Halloween orange):

...but don't let that innocent face fool you, he's a monster in his own right :P

With my comic art sections dominated by Horror artist Bernie Wrightson I'll start off with linking to those sections.

Then of course there are the Martians

Two for one click: Hybrid human/cat monster Natsuki (Hyper Police) getting solicited by a libidinous centaur monster:

Hosenki (from Inuyasha) looks very Halloweenish:

http://sensei.rubberslug.com/gallery/in ... mID=253535

As does Rengokuki from the same series (seen here in a Picasso-influenced tableau):

http://sensei.rubberslug.com/gallery/in ... mID=124616

One-eyed Cemetery Boy Kitaro certainly deserves his place in the full moon:

Mojo Jojo (from the anime remash of Powerpuff Girls) still thinks he wuz robbed in the Beta sketch contest:

http://sensei.rubberslug.com/gallery/in ... mID=187506

Dispell from Tenshi ni Narumon is a sure bet for this show me:

And don't forget Bad Buurin from Tonde Buurin! Nazi Pigs are destined to rule the world!

http://sensei.rubberslug.com/gallery/in ... mID=227085

Golly, and I didn't even think to put in Halciform from Slayers:

Or Yokai Son Goku from Saiyuki:

star-phoenix: That’s great! I always really enjoyed the giant robot/monster battle sections of Eva.

Uchiha615: The whole Uchiha clan is pretty monstrous … and I seem to remember he had purple skin
and was covered in hair during that fight.

Crackpot27: He’s just right for Halloween. He’s even sporting a costume for today!

Kagejin: God of Death … I kneel before thee! :bow

JWR: WOW! Those are fantastic! I especially enjoy seeing all the details in Dr. Frankenstein’s lab
… and you already know I’m awestruck by your Martians.

Sensei: Quite the post! I particularly like the giant skull headed Hosenk from Inuyasha,
and I laughed at Mojo-jojo’s choice of costume.

And I’ll add my own Jack-o’-lantern to the thread … Mr. Halloween himself, Samhain.

MGarza145: Sure … I always knew Jigglypuff had a dark side. :evilblk

Belldandy16: Thanks for the blast from the past!
When I watched Gargoyles as a kid, I thought Demona was hot (still do).

Glorff: Those are some vicious jaws!

Wendy: Hahaha … true terror, fiendish and ferocious!
But, in all seriousness, that D rocks!

Toonybabe: I really like your Scooby-Doo sketch! The drawing encapsulates the show,
and the wacked-out monster chases Scooby and Shaggy got into.

JWR: Glad you’re back with more. I’m digging that bug-eyed, brain, octopus monster-complete with victim’s skulls
… and lovely ladies needing to be rescued are always a nice touch.

Here’s some anime/sci-fi terror for the thread, slime-covered Gren within Zeiram:
