Doesn't everyone have a wife that needs a knee replacement. I have a great programmer.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Oh. What is that feeling like? In what way?

It's hard for me to narrow it down to a few items, especially since I always feel quite fortunate to have what I have and to have what I do not.
1) Despite all of their odd behaviors, I am happy to have the family that I do. I don't know what I'd do without dysfunctional relatives, holiday arguments and problem children(and adults).
2) I am thankful for having such a wonderful fiancee(and future in laws). I don't think I could have asked for anything more in this area.
3) For being able to see Japan during one of its most beautiful seasons, and to be offered the oppertunity to work in Dublin, Ireland in 2009.
4) To have the job that I have making the salary that I do. It's surprising that I get paid to do what I do.
5) To have the possessions I have and the possessions I do not, because without losing some of those auctions, I might not own all the artwork that I do.

I am thankful that... I have a good Thanksgiving dinner to go to later!
Lol, it's similar to a traditional Christmas dinner in England (with the turkey and stuffing, though I personally eat no meat), but in November. If I was home in the UK, it would just be another day with no special significance, but here it's another day with an *excellent* meal. I feel blessed to be included in the holiday by some great people here, and then look forward to the full fixings in a month's time as well. Yay XD.
Jasmine jelly, Sensei? Sounds good
(Also, Whole Foods rules; I love the special roast vegetable side dishes they pull out this time of year.)
Have a very Happy Thanksgiving, to all you guys ^^.

I'm thankful for:
- having my health which allows me to do the things I like e.g. reading manga and watching anime or even enjoying a simple meal
- my friends who have stuck by me for more than a decade
- my family becoz even though they piss me off no end, I can still count on them
- my fiance who makes me laugh and tolerates me
- my job which is pretty fun if only I didn't have to wake up early
- having my own place and more importantly, my own room hehe
So here's to a great Thanksgiving and the holidays ahead!
