Uh I'm just dying to talk about the FMA ending and none of my anime friends have seen the ending. So they get mad everytime I even mention anything!
So what did everyone else think of the ending?
I thought it was awesome. Here I expected it to be the end of the world, or something similar. I guess I expected the ending to happen the way it did. Both brothers giving up their lives for one another but did anyone expect that the gate was a portal to our world? I know I didn't!
I cried when Ed came back to life and Al was gone. I knew it was coming but I still cried! I knew when they were showing the father at the end that Ed was going to be in that world but what happened to Envy? Do you think he's stuck there looking for Hohenheim? Or did Envy go to a different "dimension" or "world"?

Hahahha, thank god I already seen the series and the special. But yes, I agree with hanaeleh, use the spoiler button. They are there for a reason.
The spoiler button saves lives.....well, maybe just your life. I have to email Kujaku not to read this post or he's gonna come after you with a pitchfork....lol
But I agree with you, the ending was sad....but the special made me even sadder
Recaps always make me sad when it is for the ending of a good series like FMA
Whay hanaeleh said. That was just plain WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sooo shouldn't even have clicked the post!!! Grrrrr. Now I'm sick. Literaly. Not joking. Shaking, stomache turning! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. And I was JUST getting over the Hughes thing! Dammit all!
*hunts for pitchfork*

Okay I get it now! Sorry about that. What's the special you are talking about? I've only seen the 51 episodes.

Well, the FMA Special is like a recap of the series. In the end,
Most of it is a recap of the series, but in the end it has Ed in another world with his dad. But of course he is trying to find a way to get back to Al. They love each other so much that in the end of the special, you see both of them reaching out to each other, even though they both are in 2 different worlds now...wonderful moment
Also, you are wrong about the whole end part
Al never disappeared. It was Ed that disappeared. Al is still in the Alchemy world, while Ed is in the new world with his dad, kinda like our world that doesn't have any alchemy in it, but science. You should watch the special

I'd be crying too. You didn't read the whole post ... did you?
How come you haven't finished watching the series yet? Are you watching it via cartoon network? If you have a streamload account, I can send you the entire series plus the special for you to watch.
Nah, I kind of like watching it on CN. lol It's the only thing to add excitement to my weekends. That and I've got about 6 other series I'm watching right now. . . and the shop. Busy.
lol And yes I did read the whole post. LOL After reading that first bit, kind of hard not to finish! But I guess I shouldn't be THAT surprised. It IS an anime afterall. "Happy endings" are few and far between. It was a little too much to expect them (Ed and Al) to release that the thing they got in exchange for what they lost was eachother and to give-up the whole getting the bodies back thing. lol That's like expecting Inuyasha to pick one girl! But I still have hope. I.E The movie. Let's hope. . .
Ed works his way back to AL.
