*While everyone else is mesmerized by Kenshin & Aoshi, I'll make off with Sano & his Zanbatou* :run

Good luck to all going for these lovelies.

I´m relieved that I don´t care as much about hanken as for cels from within the show

Good luck for Aoshi, Remi!
You took the words right out of my mouth!

Stuff like condition: trace lines are faded, tap part cracked, dent makes me equally unhappy.

I'm surprised to find another collector who doesn't generally go all gooey over hanken cels. I also prefer production cels to hankens, but I think we might be the only two! Most people see them as the holy grail of collecting it seems.

And thanks for the luck! I might need it. :)

Holy smokes!

Sano ended right about where I expected, Kenshin is a bit higher than I would have thought, but what the heck is up with Aoshi? That was the shocker of the month for me without a doubt. He really isn't that popular... in fact I can only think of two other people I know who really adore him, and one of them no longer collects.

Grats to any beta members who snagged any of them! :)

@_@

I'm watching them creep up. It's hypnotic... although I really should be working!

Well, at least I can go back to work now, and also be completely okay with not winning that Aoshi. Not only did the condition worry me, but I really felt in a hanken he should be holding both his swords, and they should be the appropriate length. The one he is holding looked too long. That sort of irked me.

I would love to find an actual production cel of Aoshi is such a perfect action pose though!

I'm still amazed at the price. Compared to Aoshi, even Sano was quite the bargain! I always thought of Sano as much more popular than Aoshi.

Any beta members snag any?

I was the highest bidder for the Yahiko one for the longest time.
I really started thinking : "Naaah, now way I'll get it a such a low price."
Guess what ? I didn't, it also blew up, although only at a fraction of the Kenshin and Aoshi.
At least I can say I was in the bidding war too. :D

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?
