I'm in the minority- I have a pretty unique name, so knowing even just my first name makes me a lot easier to track down. I have had multiple internet stalkers, and it's not fun. >< Besides, I've been using 'Weyrlady' so long that some of my RL friends call me by it, and I respond to it just as quickly as my real name. I also have a lot of con friends who know me as nothing other than 'Weyr', it's kind of fun.

I'll generally give out my real name only when it comes time to tell some one where to ship a cel I'm buying from them. *g* Though one Beta member did ask once specifically, that was rather flattering. ^^
