Most of it is a recap of the series, but in the end it has Ed in another world with his dad. But of course he is trying to find a way to get back to Al. They love each other so much that in the end of the special, you see both of them reaching out to each other, even though they both are in 2 different worlds now...wonderful moment

Al never disappeared. It was Ed that disappeared. Al is still in the Alchemy world, while Ed is in the new world with his dad, kinda like our world that doesn't have any alchemy in it, but science. You should watch the special

After Ed gets stabbed by Envy and dies Al brings him back to life with the power of the Philosopher's stone. When Ed wakes up to find that Al is gone that's when I cried. That was the very ending. After that Ed brings Al back and he's back in his 10 year old body and supposedly he's forgotten everything. Which is the really sad part.
I cant believe Al forgets everything. Does he even know who Ed is?
Also another question
Ed ends up with his father. Where his powers dont exisit right? Does he know how to use them still?

Nope I dont care. I still think its a really good series..An just because I know whats going to happen doesnt make me not want to watch it. It makes me want to watch it more. Because I dont know everything that leads up to these points..LOL im sure weird

Have you seen the new trailer for the movie? I'm not sure when the longer version came out. I'd only seen the teaser trailer until last week. Now, I really can't wait!!!

Uh, original poster was not aware of spoiler button when this thread was posted. lol I wasn't really expecting her to actually give-away the end! lol And it just occured to me how silly that idea is, specially when it comes to anime. . . which usually began as manga. . . which most people have read before watching the anime. . . so they'd know the story, wouldn't they? Makes the whole spoiler thing kind of irrelevent.
