Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince *SPOILERS*

Finished it over the weekend...Made my sister wait in the midnight line at Border's

So, now I want to know what you all think! Spoilers are allowed, and if ANYONE didn't see it in the VERY LARGE letters in the Subject Line, this WHOLE THREAD will contain spoilers!!! They will ALL be blackboxed of course, so FAIR WARNING!

I'm interested to hear what everyone thought about this:

Snape killing Dumbledore? How many of you thought this was an evil act upon Snape?

JK has always made it a point to be very clever in how she words scenes. The way you may THINK they go can be deceiving! When my boyfriend finished the book, he was PISSED! Said he hated the book, and may never read the last HP book

So, everything else is open! I want to hear your thoughts on the above, as well as speculation on what seems to be now, some incredible action to come!

We've also got soda's little evil prank in this same section, and I think three for Harry is probably enough.

By the way, Harry is my favorite. I know, I'm so boring. But I always love the main character the best!

I really liked some new sides of characters we haven't seen before... Draco for one... but Harry's always going to be my fav chara, even though he has his annoyingly shouty moments, eventhough he's entitled to have them! Loved HBP!

I agree with Rekka. I found Malfoy to be a very sympathetic character in this book. I liked this new facet to his personality, and it gives a new twist to the impending conflict of the final novel. The interactions between Snape and Dumbledore will be read over and over by fans. I am going over them myself. And with Alan Rickman being the incredible actor that he is, I expect that this will be the most incredible HP movie moment of all. Especially when he is confronted by Harry at the end and they have that great encounter. I'd say Snape is my favorite character from this novel.
