Mine is The Grand Duchy of Ryodan

Civil Rights: Good
Economy: Developing
Political Freedoms: Good
Country's Motto: Every Man For Himself.

The Grand Duchy of Ryodan is a tiny, devout nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed population of 5 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The enormous government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Religion & Spirituality, and Defence. The average income tax rate is 36%, but much higher for the wealthy. A substantial private sector is led by the Door-to-door Insurance Sales industry, followed by Book Publishing and Cheese Exports.

Crime -- especially youth-related -- is relatively low, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Ryodan's national animal is the penguin, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the chicken.

Anyone else got a nation.
