Well you already took my 1st choice which is to find one of my furballs and pet them. :cat

Other things I do is emerse myself in a book in a quiet area or a long walk.

Awwwwwww ki-chan!!! *hugs kittens*

Well, I'm actually feeling a little stressed right now :? but I usually try to get over it by:

- playing with Sushi, my kitty
- chatting with betarians and buddies on MSN
- running and dancing around lol to songs that just keep repeating because my cd player is broken :rollin
- playing tennis (just whack that ball as hard as you can, release all of that stress!)
- land punches on my pillow for however long it takes me to calm down lol (this is usually if I'm mad-angry lol)
- sit alone for a while

I try not to draw or write, unless i really want to, because if I make mistakes, I feel worse lol! XD

Oooh, but listening to nice music to start the day is good. ^_^ It makes me unwind and just... chill, lol.

I hope all is going ok for you kittens! *HUGE hugs to ya*

God, I really wish I could remember what it is I do right to releive stress? Cause I could sure use it right-now!

HA!

Nah. All I really have to do is look at my dogs. They's so dang neurotic and goofy it's pretty hard to be too stressed about anything.

Cleaning's good to. Gives me something to do to distract me. Plus, just having things clean is a HUGE bit off my shoulders.

Finally, I'm pretty big on meditation. My latest one is to light a candle on my alter, poor out a little sea salt or sand and draw in it. Lately, it's been a spiral. Just let my finger go round and round. . . after a bit I'm usually back to normal. :D Or as close to it as I get. :P

Rafting !! Off to Yoshino river this weekend in Kochi pref.

What else..... snorkeling, wake boarding , body boarding , sea kayaking and Judo, Oh and biking around Japan, Biked from Awaji island (where I live) around lake Biwa (some 640km) in two and a half days a couple of weeks ago.

No so much Judo these days because I love the water so much more, want to give Kendo a go, but can't find the time. Whacking people with sticks must relief stress, not to mention the screaming part :)

If you have noticed I didn't upload many cels this summer, the above are to blame !! sorry m(__)m

Unfortunately...

I eat. Mostly chocolate. This is not a good thing.

I also sleep a lot. But... not last night :( :coffee:

The other things I do to relieve stress are reasonably stupid as well. I clean, or I find some horrible organization task that needs to happen RIGHT THEN (like the organization of all 10 boxes of photographs from the last three decades or something). Which of course leads to more stress when I can't get it done like the superwoman I obviously am in some WARPED corner of my brain. :P

So. If someone has more good suggestions, keep 'em coming.

(Ooooo! How about going to Nan Desu Kan and spending lots of money on more dust-collectors, I mean, anime figures?!! :) )

I draw or listen to music, or both together. I also go for a walk for an hour or two (whenever I get the chance during day or night), or I go on my bike 23 miles or even do both on a same day whenever I get chance. To me excersice keeps my mind clear and away from stressing out over things, so it's a daily routine now for the last few years. ^__^

I also just look around online, go "window shopping" online and just surf on the net to get my mind off things if stressed out. I love to research so that's one other thing that I do. I love art, so I look at fanarts, and at just general Art online. It's very relaxing. ^__^

I used to play video games, which was relaxing, but also got me in trouble with family since I didn't pay attention to anything for days. ^^;;

That must have been some major stress to burn off doing all that. O.O

I used to go fishing, aka. wetting the line on my pole. These days though I tend to do things outside chores (washing and checking fluids on the cars), or play video games (mostly driving ones since if I play fighting ones it just aggrivates me even more).

Recently I bought a train videogame for my PSP that is funny. Driving a train in Japan must be stressful since I miss all the stops. >.<
