In all honesty, the action is probably over. Both AshenFairy and I reached our limits & TabbyKitty said she wasn't bidding. In the last round of high-end Miyuki-chan cels on Yahoo Japan, almost every single bidder used a deputy service - and all the winners were deputy service customers. So unless it goes to an unknown lurker, chances are there won't be many more bids (if any) on this cel.

I really hope that Ms. Poe gets her wishlist cel!

I use AC as my deputy, and have the current high bid ^_^! I'll be getting up at 7am in the morn to make sure I finish with the win ^_^!

I'm actually REALLY sick right now(fever over 100), so hopefully I'll make it outta bed when my alarm goes off ^^;!

I hope hope I get her *_*! she's one of my ultimate dream cels *_*!!!!!!!

The japanese bidders came outta the woodwork at the very end =_=! Guess She won't be coming to America...Unless someone bids higher on her.

It might be the fever, but I can buy other...MANY other pretties including dream cels for less than this =_=! If I wasn't still paying off Misato and another wishlist cel...*sigh*...

No... man I wish I had the cash to go at it a few more times at least the further up it goes the better I feel to a certain degree as then I know there's no way I could have afforded her right now...Boy am I ever jealous of the people who can right now though

Well it looks like a rinkya bidder secured her, so there may be a chance that someone from beta ended up with her *comforts Ms. Poe*

that price is insane-almost 3K, probably more with all the deputy fees. Whoever ended up with her definately wanted to break the bank to make sure.

There are always other dream cels out there-that don't cost 3 grand

I'm very sorry for you, Ms. Poe. That was a gorgeous, once-in-a-lifetime item, and I'd have been as happy to have you get it as to have it myself. (Divorces on the grounds of financial malfeasance come high in my state.)

The sharks seem to be on the prowl at this time of year. I was bidding on a set of gengas from "Magical Shopping Mall Abenobashi" that sat for a long time at 3500 yen, then within ten minutes went to just about ten times that. I was first irritated at having what I thought was an outrageous, possibly foolhardy bid topped, then intrigued as two Japanese bidders nibbled against each other for half an hour for ultimate bragging rights.

Christmas time ... that time of year ... when credit card limits get tested ...

Ah, well, lick your wounds, Ms. Poe (I'll come help if it's any comfort) and reconcile yourself in the knowledge that your stunning Hinotos and Eagle are already the envy of CLAMP-lovers everywhere.

It wasn't me on Rinkya, though I would love to see who ultimately ended up with the cel. It seems almost certain that it is a ex-Japan bidder as nearly all Rinkya bidders are US or EU.

Ms Poe, I hope you get well soon from the fever. There is a lot of that going around right now, doubly so if you have kids around to help pass the viruses around!

Ok this is totaly off topic... but that seller had a rather good X/99 cel up for auction as well. And of quite a popular character too. It seems like that auction was kind of "overshadowed" by this one and the X/99 cel went for a bargain. So congratulations Kamidake! ^_^
