My Mom unfortunately passed away in 1995, but I do always give my wife some things in honor of her Motherhood. This year:

1. Dozen roses ($11.97 at the PA grocery store where I get her supplies not easily gettable in Cephiro)

2. Box of Senape's Tavern Pitza ($6.50 at ditto). We heated up the slices (square, not pie-shaped) last night when I pulled in home. They are made to eat stone cold for breakfast, but are actually pretty tasty reheated in the oven as well.

3. Crabtree & Evelyn body lotion (I forget how much: bought it online about a month ago).

We're probably going to go out to eat at some less-than-snooty place Sunday, maybe a cut above the ribs joint on the corner and two cuts below the Yacht Club.

I got my mom flowers.
I think it would be neat to do a certificate for a mani/pedicure or massage/spa treatment.

I bought my mom a nice card. :)

But since I always buy my cards from the same Hallmark store in the mall where I work I hope that I didn't buy the same card I've bought before.

Perhaps I should keep track of the cards I've bought from previous years so I won't have this problem. That's what I'm forced to do for the Christmas cards I purchase.

I do a combo mother’s day/ birthday gift. My mom is addicted to books on tape so I got her a membership, rather like Netflix, from Booksfree.com

Year before last, I got her a glass teapot and blooming bouquet tea from Nuni Tea.

My mom wants night vision goggles, but I don't have enough money to buy her a nice pair - they're like $3,000. She won't give us any other ideas so we will probably just go out to eat somewhere nice and get her a gift certificate to get her hair done and some cool earrings.

Tell me more about your mother.

My mom LOVES scrapbooking, and I wasn't sure what she has, so I got her a ribbon spool holder, and two ribbon spools :)

I bought her a jar of gourmet cookies from the Nutty Cookie company in San Francisco. It comes with a dozen assorted cookies and brownies in a collectible jar. I got her flowers for her birthday and wanted to do something different.

My mom lives several thousands of miles away, overseas, and best present I could give her would for me to visit her, but not possible at this time. :(
So instead I am having some nice flowers delivered to her for Mother's Day. ^_^

I probably wont be getting anything from my two teens, which is fine with me. All I want is for my kids and husband to be home together. That would be the best present for me, because due to his career he has been gone a lot over the last 17 years.
