Thought it was awesome! :D

Wasn't a fan of the fluids spitting from the mouths of the bots though - seemed weird.

Also, did anyone else notice the resemblence between Roberto from Futurama, and Wheelie? :P

I agree it was a bit long but I really enjoyed it. :D I'm not even a big fan of transformers and hadn't seen the first film. The plot seemed a tad overly convoluted but man those action scenes more than made up for that. 8O :D

It was pretty terrible imo, and I'm a huge Transfan (loved the first movie).

Several notable instances.
0. Too much crude humor. 5 scenes of humping is a bit much.

1. Mudflap and Skids = aka = Retarded. Distracting, and apparently invincible (see point #2). Way worse than Jazz, and Jazz was terrible in part 1.

2. They absolutely ruined Devastator. Lets see, lets have 6 Mega Oversize Earth Moving Nightmares Combine into one killing machine (okay, they're on the right track) and then lets make him such a wimp, that a tiny little trash talking mini can burst through his head with no effort and a single measily human battleship can kill him in one hit. Oh and give him balls too. Kids love balls.

3. Bay has no idea what the meaning of good guy and bad guy is. At the beginning, autobots re chasing down and murdering deceptions for apparently no reason. They did nothing and were fighting for their lives. You actually felt bad for them. No wonder Cybertron is gone. In Bay's TF world, both factions commit genocide. It's hard to relate to one side or another when they act the same.

4. Ending beyond stupid. Prime kills Fallen in 3 seconds. Going along with point #3, it also shows a darker side of prime, yet again, where he essentially tortures Fallen by tearing off his face before killing him. Again, good guy here. Lets give at least Prime of all people some scruples.

5. They made the movie too much like the show, and had way too many reused models and color swaps. It's jarring to see Longhaul, Mixmaster, scrapper etc etc combine into Devastator in one scene, and then see the exact same models, right down to the color, fighting autobots in a battle in the next. The lack on continuity sucks in this regard and these great characters come off as color swapped clones.

6. The sun? Blow up the sun??? Jesus Christ c'mon. I thought they had three writers on this, one of them hired specifically because he was a TF know it all, and that is what they came up with? They changed everyone, created lunatic characters and a plot that doesn't make sense anyway you cut it. More amusingly is the interview with two of the writers saying they didn't know if they would do a part 3, otherwise they may risk getting stale. Gee, I wouldn't want them to dull the razor's edge that is blowing up the sun.

Good Part(s)

Effects were awesome.
Violent.
Megan Fox and the Pretender rock my dream world.
Soundwave sounds like Dr. Claw.

I gotta say that this was one awesome movie. Loved the digital effects and all
I enjoyed the funny parts, since they were great and not just showing violence throughout the entire Movie
I've been a fan of Transformers all my life and when they came out with the first Movie I was already impressed, but this second one was amazing. I hope they making a third one.

I saw both and I have to say they both sucked so terribly it was insulting. Both movies were so dumbed down it was ridiculous and the first movie, all the little chit chatting of the small bots was annoying and then Bumble Bee urinating on the human, then Prime using the term "My Bad" To be honest I was pissed when I left the theater. how dare they destroy something so precious and important of my childhood.

The second movie sucked as well. I like that so many fans complained about the "all Spark" and where the hell that come from, that they finally put the "Matrix" in this movie. Same negatives as the first one..bots whining and chirping, transformers drooling...transformers simulating human flesh..sorry now your in Terminators realm and why does every movie now have to have the token black guy or in this case two Transformer "G's" what the hell..?? Again extremely disappointed. And what is with the really Dumb Wife talking to herself and tripping over everything and all the long drawn out scences of Megan Fox..who cares.. I paid see transformers not stupid humans getting in the way and battling with their sexuality.

It is really sad that something that touched so many lives has been reduced to this crap.

All I can say is now I understand why I see lots of people wearing T-Shirts that say "Michael Bay R*ped My Childhood"

While I do think they went overboard on the humour side of things in this movie and that it isn't the greatest movie ever, I don't however think the 80's animated series was the most sombre of creations. I seem to remember prime using alot of 80's catchphrases so prime saying 'my bad' isn't much different or out of character.

I quite enjoyed the first one, but to be honest the second movie doesn't stand up very well. It was as if no one writer won the argument for which plot to use, so you end up trying to follow this quite long and frankly messy narritive with too many characters to follow. Secondly the humour is just off, it's not that it's too lewd or anything it's just poor and lumpen even for a basic action flick like this. At least Arnie came out with some good one liners in his films....

Lastly I thought Megan Fox was one of the few good things about the movie, though it can hardly be said for the acting ability.
