Allow me to introduce the newest addition to my family

I pick him up officially in 2 more weeks. I wasn't looking for one, but he fell into my lap at work today.

So now to figure out a name.

Maybe it's a syllable or so too long to call a puppy with though. "Taro" for short?

Looks like a Bear to me. Tehdee-bay-ya, if you want to lean Japanese.

Bay-ya for short. I bet he does have an impressive Bay at the Moon sound already.

He's a 6 week old sheltie. He's blue merle with one blue eye and one brown eye. The owner of the stud has said she may still change her mind and keep him, but the odds are slim. I'm next on the list and of course fell in love.

My first dog was a sheltie named Lassie ( I was 5 lol) and she was wonderful. I think they are great dogs and he looks like such a cutie^_^

He does kind of look like a Bear^_^ Or a Shadow or Laddie. Honestly though I've never been able to decide on a name without spending some with them. When you do that a great name just pops up!

OMG that is the cutest pup!!!!

I had a dog named Bear once, but his name turned into
Boo-Boo Bear rather quickly....
I sure hope it all works out and you get him!!!!
The name will come once you have him in your hands and
see his quirks, my newest dog [my 3rd rottie] is actually
named Brom but that turned into Bunky 'cause he's just a Bunk!

How about Oso? Spanish for Bear. His full name can be Oso Cute.
