A Special Birthday Addition

[Sui Kune]

After saving and gathering some courage, I decided to inquire about a cel I've fallen in love with at first sight and thought about ever since. I don't think I had ever seen a more perfect and stunning Hotaru cel from the Stars season of Sailormoon, and her gaze captivated me. I can hardly believe I am now the caretaker of this cel. Since the timing was right, I figured I'd wait until today, my birthday, to update with this beauty. This has easily become one of my top-favorite cels.

Thank you, Samiamew, from the very bottom of my heart. I promise to always cherish and care for this cel, and she will be treated like a queen. I believe she'll always be with you, too, I believe each caretaker of a cel always remains with it, no matter whose hands it passes into.

I saw that on RS when it went up but was in need of a nap so I figured I'd send feedback in a sec. Your new addition really is a stunner. It is emotionally compelling, not only for being a face-on close-up, but for havinga complex, troublesome expression. Thanks for filling in the context with your comments.

The background works with the cel in an interesting way, making it look as if there some kind of light she's giving out that wouldn't be seen if the image were cropped to the edges of the paint at top and bottom.

*blush* Thank you so much everyone! <3 I can't even describe how beautiful she is in person, especially with the background.

Believe it or not, disaster was averted at some point; I noticed she was once stuck to her background, and there's very very faint bleedthrough that had begun before one of the previous owners got it unstuck (right cheek if you have a good eye). I'm so glad she didn't remain stuck, imagine what might've happened. That would've been tragic.
