very nice. I have been wanting to play this game since it looks like a lot of fun, but just can't get myself to try it due to the fear that without understanding the plot I'd miss out a lot and also won't know what to do next when I get stuck somwhere. the last raw game I played was sora no kiseki VII and I got stuck on final ch, after 50+hours because I couldn't find myself a guide for it lol

btw, what program did you use to make those gifs?

heehee I know what you mean. The first raw game I played before I could read ANY Japanese was an inport of DQVI. But with me, as long as I named my character something I could recognize (I think I named him "Tehihihi" in katakana), it wasn't so bad. I have a pretty imaginative storytelling mind to make the uncomprehencable dialogue interesting. Of course there were clues and such of what to do next that I didn't get, but I still played through most of the game that way until my brother got angry at me for one thing or another and deleted my game. xP He's just something evil like that. lol

It shouldn't be too hard finding info if you get stuck in a game. I wouldn't mind helping a bit if you get stuck. There are a ton of gameplay videos on YouTube and NicoNico Douga that would be helpful in those situations, too.

Anyway, I used to use ImageReady years ago but lost it along the way. It just happened to be on my friend's computer that he gave me. Lucky! Just the CPU is quite slower than even my old Mac so it takes awhile for it to do anything... It ran out of V-RAM yesterday when I tried to open and work on 7 images at once. lol poor computer.

Alright! I've just made new scans of a new batch of cels that I will be updating over the next couple days. I also got a couple really nice new backgrounds, too; three of which are matching sunset BGs.

Aww, thanks so much!! I kinda have a unique selection of goodies that most people might not have an interest in, so when somebody actually stops by to comment on anything, I'm VERY HAPPY!! <3 Thanks so much for taking a look!! These are my babies and it's so much fun to share them with you!

And boy do I know what you mean with back-logs! I try to get stuff done quickly after a shipment comes in, but... as I'm trying to switch over to larger thumbnail sizes... I find the desire to rescan all those older cels wanning... Plus, RS refuses to replace soooooo many of my older images, it's almost pointless to even try. I'm actually pondering the idea of redoing my gallery on my own Web site. I've had my own site for close to 10 years now, it's just when RS became a huge hit, I stopped fiddling with my own design and such to go over there. RS is so great to share new artwork with other collectors it's just... I feel I want more control over how it looks and how things are displayed/organized... I tend to be a bit anal in organizing things properly, in the right order.

Anyway, I have some more updates to make but RS is refusing to let me upload any images (stuck at 0%), so I will personally let Beta viewers have the first look at these new additions. If any of you are familiar with AnimeJewell's awesome gallery, I'm sure you will recognize these! I've made new scans of these cels and put them with some new backgrounds (a couple have the sunset BGs I was talking about before). Enjoy!!

This one is interesting because the bottom layer is of a bunch of rockets launched by the Ryukon troops that should belong to another cel. This specific shot of Teppei has no such layer in it. Thankfully, though, this layer is NOT stuck (it's protected by a blank layer in between, so it can be removed if necessary. xD

I know, right!? Linda is so sweet-- that cel was actually a gift! She told me to expect an extra cel, but I never thought she'd send that one!! <3 I am a total sucker for Teppei, and she knows it!! xD

BTW, is anyone else having trouble uploading images to RS tonight? It won't work for me still.... *sigh*

I really love the detail in the individual feathers all around, in the sequence mates. It's from that really great flashback episode.

I was really lazy with the scans and ended up using the same little background for all 4 of these.

I really don't know anything about the shows that you update with, but
I have to admit - you have wonderful taste. All the cels are really great.
I have to say, it must be nice for you, living in Japan, and not having to
pay deputy fees, of the terrible USD to yen conversion rate. >_<

And yeah, I tend to collect some pretty obscure titles. It helps to avoid bidding wars, that's for sure! The only problem with obscure titles is when I want to let some go to help fund new additions; not many people are interested. I really ought to be more careful with purchases... but sometimes it can't be helped! lol

Since when is Escaflowne considered an obscure title? Just kidding, I have to agree I haven't heard of the rest of those shows before, but they all look like worth collecting.
I especially love the three cels of winged Van.
